By far the most successful club among all of Radnički club teams is the female handball club team. At the same time, they are also the most successful female team in the history of sport in Yugoslavia.

During the club's 60 year long history, Radnički handball players have been the state champions 14 times, and they won the Cup of Yugoslavia 11 times.

When competing against Europe's top teams, they managed to win the European Champions Cup in 1976, 1980 and 1984 and three times, in 1986, 1991 and 1992, they won the the European Cup of Cups.

The continuity this team demonstrated speaks more than words could of this team's achievements that had no real competition in the '80 and '90 Yugoslavia and was at the top of the ladder in Europe as well.

In the early '90, when sponsored by BIOMELEM, Radnički handball players were vice-champions four times and in 1994. they were fourth in the league. They won the Cup of Yugoslavia in 1990, 1991 and 1994, and in 1991 and 1992 the won the European Cup of Cups.
